Christ Chapel

Judge Clarence Thomas presided over the official opening of the 27,000 square foot Christ Chapel on the Hillsdale College campus.

The Chapel features variegated Indiana Limestone on the exterior and rustic buff Indiana Limestone columns on the interior.

The entrance portico, which features 8 Doric columns and the 32-foot self-supporting dome, required limestone cornice to be fabricated on a 16-foot radius with finished molded surfaces on three sides at a minimum length of 11’-4”.
