Belmont University

Fisher Center

Belmont University Fisher Center for the Performing Arts is a $180 million facility with classical design in keeping with European Opera Houses.

The 21 hand carved column capitals include unique details such as bees and hives in honor of the building donor who was known for keeping beehives on the roof of one of Belmont’s academic buildings.

The largest of the column capitals, measuring 6’ 8” x 6’ 8”, are some of the largest that Bybee Stone Company has fabricated.
