Notre Dame Jack Arch
Focusing on Andrea Palladio as a model craftsman, Architectural Consultant Travis Kline ND ’03 and Joey Hiben ND ’12, built a Palladian jack-arch with limestone using 16th-century techniques as part of the School of Architecture’s June 2012 conference, “From Vernacular to Classical: The Perpetual Modernity of Palladio.” Andrea Palladio was an Italian Renaissance architect. The project was underwritten by Bybee Stone Company.
